Russ Baker’s Media Appearances

This Week on TV, Radio & Online Starting Tonight!

Help Us Spread The Word!

Family of Secrets has been out for a while, but, due in good part to the corporate-owned media’s reluctance to air deep investigative journalism that takes on the powerful, it’s still one of America’s best kept secrets.  That’s starting to change, and Russ is in demand now more than ever.

This week, Russ is providing intriguing context on a confluence of anniversaries and events currently taking place:  the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s inauguration, the 50th anniversary of Eisenhower’s famed speech warning about the military industrial complex, the 10th anniversary of George W. Bush’s inauguration, the Martin Luther King Jr. Day observation, the Arizona shootings, and more.  Russ talks about Family of Secrets, and about our new nonprofit, nonpartisan investigative reporting news site,

Your book is superb journalism. I was an Army combat photographer in Vietnam for two back-to-back tours ending in Feb 1970. Among the many groups and events I photographed there were several times I worked with MACV (CIA), Special Forces and CID (criminal investigations division). Your book read absolutely true to me. I am so angry after reading it that I sent the following letter to my Congressman and both of my Senators.

Russ Baker’s book “Family of Secrets” (ISBN: 978-1-60819-006-5) describes by his account, what amount to high crimes and treason against the United States and others. There is not one such event but many. There is not just one guilty person but many. There is no statute of limitations for treason. Russ Baker has meticulously documented with extensive footnote references the events he describes in “Family of Secrets.” He has done the valuable discovery work that the U.S. government and numerous attorney generals ought to have been investigating. I am asking my government to take this book seriously, provide good protection immediately for Russ Baker, and thoroughly investigate the claims he makes in this book. Events in Egypt clearly demonstrate that it is long past time for America to get its foreign policy and the CIA under control, and acting in legal and competent ways.

PS – And yes I expect an appropriate response to this letter.

So Russ where can I send a small check to support the important work you are doing in service of America? We live terribly frugally these days but I cannot afford not to support your efforts.
