Gore Vidal Has Something to Say
“Never pass up the opportunity to have sex or appear on television,” the eminent historian and novelist Gore Vidal once said. Living up to his own dictum, here’s Gore Vidal appearing on C-SPAN’s Book TV from the Key West Literary Conference. He has some kind things to say about Family of Secrets, beginning at about the four-minute mark:
There’s a wonderful book, by the way, I’m reading called Family of Secrets by…Russ Baker. He spent many years on it. And it’s a family — forgive me, Bushes and Bushettes — a family of criminals. Why they’re not all in jail I don’t know. If I seem a little dazed, I’ve been reading about their crimes, and proposed crimes, and how they got away with it.

I agree with the comments of Mr. Vidal. The Bush family has been undermining our democracy for generations. It is clear that Bush 41 was intimately involved in the assassination of JFK. His spoiled spawn W just continued his uncaring self-indulgent life as Poppy’s back room crew proceeded to advance the oil and finance and military industrial complex agendas. Along with the Bushes, don’t forget to arrest Rumsfeld and Cheney. Criminals all.

Well said by Gore Vidal. I agree 100%. This book should be in the news. The discussion of the two Poppy Bush FBI memos are strange, disturbing, and revealing. B Bush 41 had some kind of involvement in the JFK assasination. That is clear!

I just finished the book, and it made my head hurt, it was brilliant. Before I started it I was already under the impression 43rd was the most corrupt administration since Tea Pot Dome, I was wrong, it is the most corrupt in our nations history.

it was with deep sadness that i read rus baker’s Family of Secrets.
i read it sadness deep sadness because of the horrendous and utterly repugnant crimes impugned upon the american people and america’s institutions.
if the people of america cannot get fair justice with respec to these crimes, the rest of the world has no hope of ever getting justice against high crimes in their respective countries.

Being British I was delighted and encouraged by the bravery displayed by Russ Baker and full of respect for his magnificent research which will be the opening of the floodgates of mud which have been engulfing us in the Western World for many many years. We in the UK are involved in this as well so well done Russ and more power to your PC
